The dedication and enthusiasm of members of the congregation give the Temple its vitality. The volunteer organizations of Temple Sinai support the Temple, provide programming for members of the congregation, and perform acts of Tzedaka.

The Caring Committee has evolved into the Caring Connection and is preparing to provide a variety of services to our members during times of need.

Develops and implements communications strategies to maximize participation in TS events and causes, and to enhance the image of the congregation internally and externally.

Plans and implements cultural activities for the congregation.

Invites interfaith families to take part in Synagogue life and helps foster a meaningful relationship with Temple Sinai and Judaism. Provides a forum for education, discussion, support and social interaction for intermarried couples, their children and parents. Educates and sensitizes the larger Temple community to be receptive to interfaith families.

Oversees the Temple library. Responsible for maintaining existing material and acquiring new material.

Oversees the maintenance of buildings, grounds and equipment at the Memorial Park.

Responsible for Religious School policy and planning. Works with the Family Education coordinator in planning family education programs. Oversees the Youth Groups and develops youth programming.

Plans and coordinates social programming for senior members.

Works to stimulate the social conscience of the congregation by presenting topics of concern. The committee also develops programs and initiates activities to promote assistance to the needy in the community.

Assists, under the direction of the Rabbi, Associate or Assistant Rabbi, in preparation for and conduct of religious services. Also cares for sacred and religious properties of the Temple.
