Blessed are You, Adonai our God, Ruler of the Universe, who forms light and creates darkness, makes peace and creates all. The One who illuminates the earth and those who dwell upon it, with compassion; and who, in God's goodness, renews every day the act of Creation. How great are Your works, Adonai. You make them all with wisdom, the world is full of Your possessions. May You be blessed, Adonai our God, beyond the praises of Your handiwork and beyond the brilliant lights that You made--may they themselves glorify You. Blessed are You, Adonai, creator of the lights.
