Our God and God of our ancestors, may our rest be pleasing (to You). Make us holy by your commandments and make our way of life be in Your Torah. Satisfy us with Your goodness and gladden us with Your salvation, and purify our hearts to serve you in truth (sincerely). Cause us to inherit, Adonai our God, in love and with favor, Your holy Shabbat, so that Israel--who make Your name holy--can rest on it. Blessed are You, who makes Shabbat holy.
