Rabbi Jamie Gibson 30th Anniversary Celebration

We invite you to join us for the special events we’re planning to commemorate the 30 years Rabbi Jamie Gibson has been a part of the Temple Sinai family.

November 3–4: We kick off the celebration with A Musical Weekend with Cantor Benjie Ellen Schiller. Please join us as we welcome this distinguished Professor of Cantorial Arts at the Hebrew Union College-Jewish Institute of Religion, Debbie Friedman School of Sacred Music as our special guest. Click here for more information about this exciting event.

March 2018 (dates TBD): As part of The Wiles Lecture, Temple Sinai’s Interfaith and Interracial Weekend of Dialogue will further dialogue with faith-based groups in the Pittsburgh area for the purpose of mutual understanding. We are committed to drawing together people of faith to act powerfully on local and regional issues of justice, fairness, diversity, and inclusion.

April 29, 2018: Please mark your calendars for a Gala Dinner to honor Rabbi Gibson for his outstanding service to Temple Sinai. For more information about the Gala and/or to serve on the 30th Tribute Committee, please contact Barry Rudel at (412) 421-9715 ext. 133 or [email protected]
