High Holy Day Aliyot 2020
High Holy Day Aliyot 2020
One of our favorite parts of being together in our sanctuary for the High Holy Days is gathering on the bimah to say the blessings over the Torah reading in group aliyot. Although we can’t do that in-person this year, we still want to see everyone’s faces and honor groups of people with aliyot.
Below are the nine groups we will honor with aliyot. A representative from each group will offer the blessings for the Torah reading while we show the photos on screen. Please indicate if you consider yourself to be part of one or more of these groups. (If you'd rather fill out a form and mail it to Temple Sinai, you can download it here.)
