All Day for 8 DaysMessage from Rabbi Jamie Gibson, Wednesday, Nov. 13, 2019
Hello from the Sea of Galilee - Lake Kinneret!
We are having an excellent trip so far with our friends from East Liberty Presbyterian Church. I will give a more thorough update tomorrow, but because of the outbreak of violence and the launch of missiles from Gaza in the South and reaching Tel Aviv, I wanted everyone to know that we are all safe and far away from any danger zone.
We are visiting Nazareth and Caesarea today and proceeding to Jerusalem, bypassing Tel Aviv. We hope for a cessation of the missiles. We are keeping an eye on events here, praying for the well being of all.
Hope you have enjoyed your first snow - it was 92 degrees here in the Galilee yesterday!
Sending love and prayers from Israel,
Rabbi Jamie Gibson
