"Am Yisrael Chai: An American Women’s Testimony of Israel"

Bring your lunch and listen as Randi Weiss tells us about the things she witnessed on her recent trip to Israel.  

Randi Weiss, a native Pittsburgher until moving to Chattanooga seven years ago, was asked to be one of 17 people on a recent mission to Israel sponsored by The Jewish Agency in Israel and Partnership2Gether. 

The group met with families of hostages and IDF soldiers and visited kibbutzim that were attacked as well as the site of the Nova music festival. Her group had the opportunity to attend a ceremony for Golani soldiers leaving Gaza after three months. An rare opportunity for civilians and a very last-minute addition to the schedule. 

ABOUT RANDI
Randi is a pediatric physical therapist, teaches English to Israeli students, and is active in her synagogue in Chattanooga (and was active in Beth Shalom and Tree of Life while living in Pittsburgh). She has, along with her son, previously volunteered for the IDF (medical supplies).
