10:00 AM - 2:00 PM

JOIN US FOR MITZVAH DAY AND HELP OUR COMMUNITY!

We'll start the day at Temple Sinai for check in and a muffin and donut breakfast then head out to The Branch to work in their garden or bake cookies in The Clubhouse kitchen. Or stay at Temple Sinai and work in our vegetable garden or stay inside to make cards for Israeli familes or hostages or friendship bracelets for children at UPMC Children's Hospital. 

At lunch, we'll have pizza at Temple Sinai and then spend the afternoon continuing the work at Temple Sinai or head out JAA Memory Unit to sing to the residents or to Weinberg Terrace to play games with the residents.

CHECK IN AT TEMPLE SINAI AT 9:15 AM

Check in to get your MITZVAH DAY BUTTON and complimentary breakfast. All volunteers must check in at Temple Sinai and have a button in order to volunteer offsite.

10 AM–11:30 AM Mitzvah Day Morning Options
Mitzvah Day Morning Options include working in the garden at Temple Sinai (ages 13 and older), making cards for Israeli families of hostages and friendship bracelets for children at UPMC Children's Hospital at Temple Sinai, working in The Branch's garden and baking in The Branch's Clubhouse.

1–2:30 PM Mitzvah Day Afternoon Options
Mitzvah Day Afternoon Options include singing at Weinberg Terrace and playing games at JAA Memory Care Unit. At Temple Sinai activities include working in the vegetable garden (13 years and older only), making cards for Israeli families of hostages, and making friendship bracelets for children in UPMC Children's Hospital.
