Union For Reformed Judaism (URJ) efforts: URJ Greene Family Camp is open to displaced storm victims  seeking shelter. The URJ is working closely with the Jewish Voluntary Organizations Active in Disaster (JVOAD), especially the Jewish Federations of North America (JFNA) and NECHAMA.

Seven Acres (JAA Sister Organization in Houston): The first floors of Seven Acres' nursing home are not habitable, and all residents are currently living on the upper floors. They have also lost one generator and do not have working air conditioning. Staff members are still hard at work caring for the seniors despite many of them losing their homes and belongings.
