Informal Shabbat Morning Service

Prayer through music, or music through prayer. Whichever way you look at it, the informal Shabbat service has both. The service begins at 9:15AM each Saturday after Torah Study. Rabbi Gibson leads us in singing or chanting almost all the Hebrew prayers, interspersed with interpretive readings from Mishkan Tefilah. The service includes a Torah reading of the weekly Parashah and a short dvar Torah, usually by a lay member of the congregation. We finish with Kiddush, challah and refreshments. The dress is casual and the atmosphere is warm and welcoming. Join us for a joyful celebration on Shabbat.
