TIKKUN OLAM CENTER: Family House
TIKKUN OLAM CENTER: Family House
The Tikkun Olam Center invites you to help prepare a meal at Family House, a special "home away from home" for patients and/or their families who are in Pittsburgh for treatment of serious life threatening illnesses. By offering convenient, affordable housing in a home-like environment, Family House reduces the emotional and financial stress for people facing a medical crisis in a city where they may be strangers.
We will meet on Tuesday, October 17 at 5 PM at the Family House in Shadyside at 5245 Centre Ave, Pittsburgh, PA 15232 (across from Shadyside Hospital). Dinner will be served at 6 PM. Note: You do not need to serve — if you would just like to make a dish and bring it over, please do so anytime before 5:45 PM.
For more information, contact Sharon Dilworth at sd20@andrew.cmu.edu or click to RSVP.
