WoTS Cooking Class
WoTS Cooking Class
Every month WoTS features guest chefs from the community and Temple Sinai with recipes from around the world.
Executive Director Drew Barkley has created a French-inspired menu including:
Sole Grenobloise (Filet of sole with lemon and capers)
Champignons à la Grecque (Mushrooms in a Greek Style)
Salade Verte aux Fines Herbes (Green Salad with Fresh Herbs)
Gratin Dauphinois (Over-Baked Potatoes with Cheese)
Profiteroles (Puff pastry with ice cream, warm chocolate sauce and berries)
Don't be intimidated by the French words...we'll have fun, and the food will taste délicieux! Note that we are starting this class at 5:45 PM to give us enough time to finish everything and eat together.
The cost for this class is $10. RSVP by Friday, June 8 to Carolyn Schwarz, 412-421-1268, 4carolynschwarz@gmail.com.
Anyone age 16 and older is welcome!
Classes are held on the second Monday of each month from 5:45 PM to 8:30 PM. We all help to do the work and sit together to socialize and taste our work when we are finished, usually about 8:15 PM.
