Christian-Jewish Dialogue

WELCOME TO A NEW SEASON OF INTERFAITH DIALOGUE!

This year we’re beginning with a different format. Starting September 6 at noon, we’ll be reading and discussing the biblical book of Jonah. For our first four sessions,  September–December, we will take up one chapter each session. Our clergy will share the opportunities to lead the discussion. You can, and should, prepare by reading the Book of Jonah. It’s very brief; read it twice and bring your questions and observations with you.

Everyone – lay and clergy – are invited to participate in a monthly dialog. It was originally organized by Jewish and Christian clergy in the East End many years ago and continues today. Topics range from Biblical study to contemporary issues. It is convened by Jewish and Christian clergy.

This year we gather at Rodef Shalom on the first Thursday of the month from Noon–1:15 PM.

Conveners include: Rabbi Paul Tuchman, Fr. Radu Bordeianu (Orthodox), Pastor Linda Theophilus (Lutheran), Fr. David Poeking (Roman Catholic), and Rabbi Jaime Gibson.

Location: Rodef Shalom, 4905 Fifth Ave, Pittsburgh, PA 15213
