Hi there!
We’re thrilled you and your family are interested in joining our Tot Community!
Our families are a warm, friendly bunch, and we thrive on the energy that comes with young children. We gear toward the five-and-under crowd, but we keep our activities open ended to meet every developmental stage; older siblings and friends above five still have a great time.
The third Friday of every month, we gather for Tot Shabbat. We “soft start” at 5pm with snacks and activities that include sensory, big-body, and creative play, and at 5:30 are joined by our clergy for a short, interactive, musical service. We eat dinner together as a group, and then kids go back to playing. Our goal is to take over dinner and witching hour, so all you have to do is bedtime!
Most months, we also gather on the first Sunday starting at 9:30 (coincidentally, the perfect time if older siblings are coming for religious school), and those programs vary every single month. From messy sensory play to science nights to our annual Cardboard Box Party, these social events still cover our ultimate goal for our tots: creating a positive relationship with synagogue and their Jewish community.
All of our events are open to everyone regardless of synagogue affiliation, and all events are free.
Show up as you are, bring all your friends, and come join our “Community of Chaos!”
Can’t wait to meet you,
Danie Oberman
