ABOUT THE SPEAKERS
Since 1996, State Senator Jay Costa has represented Senate District 43, which includes portions of the City of Pittsburgh, East Hills communities, and areas of the Mon Valley and South Hills. A lifelong resident of Allegheny County, Sen. Costa was born and raised in Pittsburgh and lives with his wife, Roxanne, in Forest Hills. They are the parents of three grown children.
Since 1999, State Representative Dan Frankel has served Pennsylvania’s 23rd District, which includes Squirrel Hill, Oakland, Point Breeze, Regent Square, Greenfield, and Shadyside. Rep. Frankel is a leading voice for social justice, women’s health, environmental protection, and gun regulation. He and his wife, Debra, are the parents of three grown children.
