Brotherhood Brunch & Discussion with Cookbook Author Jennifer Abadi

Sunday, April 7, 2024 28 Adar II 5784

10:00 AM - 12:00 PM

Join Brotherhood for a discussion with author and culinary artist Jennifer Abadi about the interesting people she met and experiences she had around the world while researching her cookbooks.

In a departure from our usual bagels and lox menu, we will be serving Middle Eastern Jewish fare, preparing some of the recipes published in Jennifer's cookbooks, Fistful of Lentils and Too Good To Passover: Sephardic & Judeo-Arabic Seder Menus and Memories from Africa, Asia and Europe.

Brunch fare will include shakshouka (tomato and pepper stew with poached eggs), bumuelos (matzah doughnuts with honey-lemon syrup), labeneh (yogurt-based soft cream cheese), chopped Israeli salad, assorted cheeses, and a fruit platter that Brotherhood will prepare.

Cost: $18 pre-registration/$25 at the door (seating is limited to 50 so please register early)

The presentation portion will be available on Zoom. Register below for the link.
