Think warm weather, sunny skies and green grass while hearing from Ron Blomberg, a former New York Yankee and the first player to bat as a designated hitter. Ron is a member of the Jewish Baseball Hall of Fame who has coached baseball in Israel. He is also the author of a new book titled The Captain and Me about his relationship with teammate Thurman Munson, an All-Star catcher who died tragically at age 32 in a 1979 plane crash while practicing takeoffs and landings.
Jonathan Mayo of MLB Network, and a Squirrel Hill resident, will serve as moderator.
