De-ICE Ball, a Fundraiser for Casa San Jose’s Bond Fund

Join us for a night of community, solidarity, and action as we raise critical funds for Casa San José’s Bond Fund. This fund helps reunite immigrant families by covering costly immigration bonds, ensuring that individuals are not unjustly detained due to financial barriers.

Donations: Sliding scale $18-$180

There will be live music and tasty treats as we raise money, and awareness for Casa San Jose’s Fondo Solidario (Bond Fund). Our brothers and sisters are already under attack, with ICE terrorizing immigrant communities here in Pittsburgh. Our partners Casa San Jose and LCLAA (Labor Council for Latin American Advancement) need our help.

All money from this event will go directly into the Bond Fund, which is used to get people out of ICE detention. Data shows that 87% of detainees who make bond and have representation succeed in fighting their removal versus only 11% of those who remain detained and without representation. It costs around $2,000 to get a detainee out on bond
