Please check your address, email address, and phone number below and update it here if anything is incorrect.

Thank you for your Temple Sinai 2021 Pledge
(July 1, 2021-June 30, 2022)

Temple Sinai is a welcoming community that seeks to include all. We do not charge traditional dues; instead, we ask that each of us commit annually consistent with our ability to contribute.

Sustaining Amount: $2,645

If you are able, please consider a percentage increase over your 2020 commitment. Select the amount in the drop down menu below. If you'd rather commit to a different amount, deselect the "2021 Pledge" box and enter your amount in the "Other amount" box.
Why Do We Have a Building Assessment?
As part of Pledge, we ask everyone to pay $100 to meet the needs of ongoing building maintenance, repairs, and improvements required to keep Temple Sinai functional, accessible, and comfortable for everyone.
Why Do We Have a Safety & Security Assessment?
Keeping everyone safe is one of our highest priorities. We are constantly monitoring our security needs in light of increased antisemitism. As part of Pledge, we ask everyone to pay $100 to help offset the additional expenses of security upgrades and armed security professionals.

As a member of Temple Sinai, I understand that I am making a full-year financial commitment to support our congregation. I understand that Temple Sinai depends on this commitment, and I/we will fulfill my/our financial obligation on or before April 30, 2022. If I am unable to do so, I agree to contact Drew Barkley, Temple Sinai’s Executive Director, to make alternative payment arrangements.

Questions? Please call Drew Barkley, Executive Director, (412) 421-9715 ext. 111.

The Temple Sinai Board of Trustees recently voted to affirm Temple Sinai as an ARZA-Member Congregation.

Congregational membership is a statement of shared commitment to make Israel a core component of every American Reform Jew’s identity. Because of the support of ARZA member congregations:

  • We ensure the existence of more than fifty Reform congregations and communities in Israel, working together under the umbrella organization, the Israel Movement for Reform and Progressive Judaism (IMPJ).

  • We support more than forty-five preschool classes, summer camps, a youth movement, and two kibbutzim grounded in our Reform tradition, as well as our legal advocacy arm in Israel, the Israel Religious Action Center (IRAC).

  • We partner with the Israeli Reform movement to improve nearly every facet of Israeli life and strengthen Israeli society.

  • We elevate Israel and Reform Zionism throughout the Reform Movement, including URJ congregations, URJ camps, Reform Israel experiences, education, engagement and activism.

  • We are the voice of Reform Judaism within the Israeli “National Institutions”—the World Zionist Organization (WZO), the Jewish Agency, and KKL the Israeli Jewish National Fund (JNF).
