Tzedakah Tuesday, November 28, 2023
Dear Friends,
This time of year inspires us to reflect on the people and places that give so much meaning to our lives. This year more than ever, we recognize the importance of places of community and safety. We therefore ask that you join us in thinking about your community of Temple Sinai during this year’s Tzedakah Tuesday 2023 campaign.
As members of Temple Sinai, we are part of something very special. Temple Sinai strives to be a welcoming place to go that is rooted in community, belonging, and a wonderful blend of both traditional and modern Jewish values. As we look to the year ahead, we need your help to make sure that Temple Sinai, today, tomorrow, and for all the days yet to come, continues to be our Jewish “home away from home.”
Your membership and participation in synagogue life signals your commitment to this venture. You recognize that we are a congregation strengthened by our sacred obligations to one another. When we come together to learn, connect, pray, and participate in Jewish life, we play a crucial role in promoting unity, understanding, and resilience not just within the walls of our synagogue but across our whole Jewish and broader communities.
Your end-of-year support is vital to our ability to support all the needs of our community. As treasurers, we work to help Temple Sinai be prepared for the unexpected while continuing to deliver inspiring Shabbat services and regular opportunities to experience Jewish education, special events, and family and community programs. A gift of any amount directly supports the Temple community you love and demonstrates your commitment to the perseverance of our shared heritage.
Supporting Jewish organizations like ours—an organization wholly dedicated to inclusion and community—is not just a philanthropic endeavor; it is an investment in the future of the Jewish people. We thank you for your continued membership and support of our Temple Sinai community.
Sincerest regards,
Marcie Solomon, Treasurer Jacob Schiller, Assistant Treasurer
