Join us for Shabbat Dinner in honor of Refugee Shabbat and our NextDOR 4th Graders who will lead our Shabbat Evening Service.

HIAS’ Seventh Annual Refugee Shabbat is an invitation for congregations, organizations, and individuals to express their solidarity with the global Jewish movement for refugee protection and welcome.

We will welcome members of our Refugee Resettlement Committee and our partners from Shadyside Presbyterian Church. Our guest speaker will be Ann Pauley. 

Dinner menu (catered by Cory Rockwood of The Hunger | Personal Chef Services): 

• Kosher chicken breast scallopini with crimini mushrooms and spinach
• Baked penne pasta with tomatoes, chickpeas, and peas (vegetarian)
• Saffron rice pilaf with root vegetables
• Roasted maple carrots tzimmes with golden raisins
• Roasted beet salad with apples and honey and lemon vinaigrette

Register below by 12 PM on Friday, February 21. Please indicate in the Notes section if you are vegetarian, gluten free, or need any other dietary accommodations.
