Positive Painting Project for Mental Health Awareness
Sunday, February 19, 2023 • 28 Sh'vat 5783
12:00 PM - 1:00 PMTemple Sinai is joining with the Positive Painting Project to encourage and facilitate positive mental health with beautiful art.
We aim to increase the conversations, decrease the stigma, and provide opportunities for everyone in the community to create art that is a part of that effort. Come and paint to spread the message that each person matters.
We’ll paint on canvases that will be taken to The Positive Painting Program to overlay them with messages of inspiration and hope. We’ll have an art installation sometime afterwards so everyone can see the final pieces. The Positive Painting Program is an organization started by parents who lost their very creative daughter to suicide. The project was introduced to Temple Sinai by Annabel Berkowitz, who worked with the organization for her Bat Mitzvah project.
Everyone is welcome! A perfect activity for families!
Cost: $10 per person, includes lunch, canvas, art supplies, and mental health resources.
Sorry, Registration has ended.
